Position:
The Big Bend Water Authority is accepting applications for individuals to fill a full-time position of Water /Wastewater Plant Operator. The Water/Wastewater Plant Operator is responsible for overseeing various aspects of the Authority’s water and wastewater treatment and collection systems, operations, maintenance, repair and construction. The Water/Wastewater Plant Operator is supervised by the General Manager.
Salary Range: $ 30,000.00 – 55,000.00 dependent on license level and years of experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants should have at least a Class “C” Water and Waste Water license with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the water/wastewater business. Applicant must be able to oversee all aspects of water/wastewater plant operation, file necessary government reports, and have experience in maintaining a water/wastewater utility.
Will consider licensed Water Plant Operator with class C license or Water Operator Trainee with experience capable of getting license within 90 days
