Big Bend Water Authority is replacing every meter in our system. The Meter Replacement Project will begin at the end of February and should end in April. Customers need to note that the following can occur temporarily after their meter has been replaced:
*Changes in Water Pressure
*Discoloration of water
*Air & small particles of sediment in the water lines
Prior to using water, customers can flush their lines by turning on the COLD WATER FAUCET or an outside hose for 3-5 minutes. Avoid aerator or hot water faucets that may draw into their hot water tanks.
