NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

WATER FACILITIES PLAN

SUPPLEMENT NO. 1

BIG BEND WATER AUTHORITY

          Notice is hereby given that the Board for the Big Bend Water Authority will hold a public hearing during the regular meeting on July 7, 2022.  The hearing is at 6:00 pm at the Big Bend Water Authority office at 1313 1st Avenue SE, Steinhatchee, Florida for the purpose of considering the approval of the proposed Big Bend Water Authority Water Facilities Plan Supplement No. 1.  This hearing will include a discussion of the Water Facilities Plan Supplement No. 1 and the financial impact on system users. The hearing is intended to afford the opportunity to individuals to be heard on the economic and social effects of the location, design, and environmental impact of the water system improvements.

          A portion of the funding for this project is anticipated to come from the State Revolving Fund (SRF) loan program.  Financial impacts on utility users will be presented at the hearing.

          Reports, documents and data relevant to the discussion are available for public review at Big Bend Water Authority office.

          Other business which may properly come before the Board will also be addressed.  ­­­­­­­­All interested persons are invited to attend and be heard.
