As required by Chapter 189, Florida Statutes, notice is being given that the Board of Directors (Board) of the Big Bend Water Authority (Authority) will hold its regular meetings for the remainder of Fiscal Year 2018 at the Authority office, 1313 1st Avenue SE, Steinhatchee, Florida, at 6:00 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday of every month, (with the exception of the December 2017 meeting), as follows:

The meetings are open to the public and will be conducted in accordance with Florida law.  A copy of a meeting agenda may be obtained at the meeting or, prior to a meeting, by contacting Cindy Wood at 352-498-3576 or by visiting the Authority office at 1313 1st Avenue SE, Steinhatchee, Florida.  A meeting, or any agenda item considered at a meeting, may be continued to a date and time certain to be announced at the meeting and noticed.  This notice may be subject to change.




Pursuant to provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act, any person requiring special accommodations to participate in an Authority meeting because of a disability or physical impairment should contact Cindy Wood at 352-498-3576 at least forty-eight (48) hours before the meeting.  If you are hearing or speech impaired, please contact the Florida Relay Service at (800) 955-8770 for aid in contacting the Authority office at least two (2) days prior to the date of the meeting.




If anyone chooses to appeal any decision of the Board with respect to any matter considered at a meeting, such person will need a record of the proceedings and should accordingly ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made that includes the testimony and evidence upon which such appeal is to be based.
