BOARD MEETING MINUTES
January 09, 2020
BBWA Board Members present: Charlie Norwood, Margaret Corbin, Stan Ridgeway, Howard Hart, Sean Murphy and Wendell McKinnon Absent: W.C. Mills
BBWA Employees present: Mark Reblin, Keith Reed and Laura Valentine
Also present: BBWA Attorney Mark Logan and BBWA Engineer Mike Murphy
Call to Order: Board Member Howard Hart called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m.
Invocation and Pledge of Allegiance: Board Member Hart gave the Invocation, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance, led by Board Member Wendell McKinnon.
Approval of Agenda: Board Member McKinnon made a motion to approve the agenda. Board Member Norwood seconded the motion, the vote was unanimous.
Approval of BBWA December 05, 2019 Meeting Minutes: Board Member Norwood made a motion to approve the December 05, 2019 minutes, Board Member McKinnon seconded the motion. The vote was 5 to 1 with Board Member Ridgeway-No.
Approval of November Invoices: Chairman Hart advised the folder with the paid invoices is in front of him if anyone would like to look at them. Board Member Norwood made a motion to approve the November Invoices. Board Member Corbin seconded the motion. The vote was unanimous.
Approval of October and November Income/Expense Report: Board Member Ridgeway made a motion to approve the October/November Income/Expense report. Board Member McKinnon seconded the motion. The vote was unanimous.
Citizens Input: Customer Staci Griffis representing Steinhatchee River Club inquired the status of bringing sewer lines to the development. Chairman Hart stated the bids are ready and we are working diligently to get this project started and it will be expedited. Board Member Norwood spoke for customer Rhoda Moehring, Board Member Norwood showed a glass bowl and a dark colored shirt he stated Ms. Moehring advised she has been having issues with lime build up on her glasses and discoloration on dark clothes. There was a discussion of the hardness of the water and General Manager Reblin advised there is no way to fix this unless we soften the water which will be very costly or reverse osmosis which will be very costly as well.
